Now, we all know the teddy Bear was named after President Theodore Roosevelt. But, did you know that in 1903 it was a Brooklyn candy shop owner, Morris Michtom, that created the first stuffed bear and named it the Teddy Bear? Just another great thing born in BKLYN!
