Fuzzy Lemons take Brooklyn
Known to be the Grateful Dead of kids music the Fuzzy Lemons were rocking out in Brooklyn this past weekend. They took the stage at the Knitting Factory creating sweet beats that were having parents and children groovin' and movin! But fret not dear music lovers. The 'buck' didn't stop there. If you missed them this past weekend you can still turn those lemons into lemonade and check them out on Saturdays at 11am at the Knitting Factory, in Williamsburg or you can look for upcoming shows here-http://www.thefuzzylemons.com/ Enjoy & Play Nice!

Young at heart
Valentines Day is just around the corner and what better way to give to the littlest one you love then by giving a BKLYN Yard's Heart Tag Tee!
To sweeten the deal any and all Bklyn Yard gear will donate 10% of all sales to H.E.L.P (Haitian Education & Leadership Program). An organization providing scholarships to top high school graduates that could never afford an education. In light of the recent tragic events that have occurred in Haiti we feel this is a great opportunity to give to an organization dedicated to empowering people with an education and offering them the ability to give back to their country. We can help together!

This is just "Way Tutu Cute"!
It's way tutu cool that Bklyn Yard will be selling their hip T's and onesies on
waytutucute.com! This adorable online boutique was created by Heather Castillo, owner of waytutucute.com, when she realized that there were other designers out there who had amazing things for kids and wanted to develop an online boutique which showcased such pieces. Thus, what began as a fantastic accessory (the tutu) for her daughter spiraled into a boutiuge where you can not only find great T's and Onesies for children but also some fun gifts for mom and dad too (and honestly, who doesn't like presents?) Take a look-waytutucute.com

Winter Fun!
A little bird (aka the Brooklyn Eagle) told us that Gumbo, on Atlantic Avenue, has got it going on this winter! You can take the wee-ones there to fight those indoor blues. There is a pleuthora of activities that'll keep them happy. They have Rolie Polie Guacomole's, Brooklyn newest kid band, playing some jams for the kids to move to or you can have them learn sign language at Baby Fingers, African dance, crafts and infant cpr. Put on that winter coat and hat and visit Gumbo @ 493 Atlantic Ave or give them a buzz 718.855.7808 to find out the fun going on! Play Nice.
Gardening! Not just for the warm weather!
Brooklyn's Botanical Children's Garden is certainly not hibernating this winter! While certain animals, plants and flowers snooze through the cold months the Garden is in full bloom with activities abound. Little ones have the opportunity to work in the green house, plant in cold frames and explore the garden! Definitely a place to visit this winter! The kiddies will love you for it. Check it out for more details-http://www.bbg.org/edu/children/childrensgarden.html

Wburg's egg
For the early risers and the ones with little ones, Williamsburg's egg is a child friendly restaurant on North 5th between Berry. Egg opens at 10am and is a full house by 10:15. If you do end up having to wait a few for a bite it is worth the wait.
Hipsters, children, momma and poppa bears will all be smiling with every bite especially with the beignets to kick off your meal! The grits and the hash browns are a couple items on the breakfast menu not to miss.
If egg does not grow it themselves at thief 6-acre farm in Oak Hill, New York they get all of their produce from local artisanal farmers. Organic and free range is the way Egg rolls. Nobody hates that. In fact, we applaud it.
For more info on egg and thier farm check out the links below..
