Eeyore has a Birthday

Give it up for BKLYN Yard's favorite donkey! Today is his day! Pooh Bears best friend turns 47yrs today and it's time to celebrate!



They are having a birthday party for him in Austin today but if you don't live in Austin it doesn't mean you can't party with the best of 'em. Get the flour, sugar and eggs out and make a cake in honor of Eeyore! And tonight at bedtime read the kids one of your favorite Winnie the Pooh stories :)

Happy Birthday to Dr. Seuss

Happy Birthday to you you old rhyming master! Dr. Seuss would've been turning 106yrs today and Brooklyn is doing it up right. At the Brooklyn Children's Museum there are a plethora of activities and celebrations going on to recognize the man who shapes children's imaginations world wide with "Green Eggs and Ham" or with that infamous "Grinch". And if you're not in BK to whoop it up don't worry. Make a cake and read the little tyke one of your old favorite Seuss stories.
